Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book?

To get started, head to our Book Now page or schedule a call through our consultation link. We love getting to know our couples beyond a simple vendor–client relationship, so the more information you share with us, the better we can serve you. Tell us about your vision, your venue, and what matters most to you—we’re here to help tell your story.

How much is the deposit to secure my booking?

We require a 50% deposit of the total package price to officially secure your wedding date. This ensures our availability for your day and removes the date from our calendar. After our initial conversation, we’ll send over a formal quote and contract with clear instructions on how to submit your deposit and remaining balance.

When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance is typically due before your wedding day, with the exact timeline outlined in your contract. We’ll send reminders as your date approaches so nothing slips through the cracks.

When should I book my wedding videographer?

We recommend booking your videographer shortly after securing your photographer. We work very closely with photographers on wedding days, and it’s important that our timelines and coverage align. While we do occasionally accept last-minute bookings, we strongly recommend booking at least 6 months in advance to allow time for proper planning and preparation.

How is music selected for my wedding video?

We license music from professional, non-copyrighted music platforms such as Musicbed, FyrFly, Soundstripe, and Artlist. While some recognizable songs are available, options are limited. Using licensed music protects both us and our clients from copyright issues and potential legal trouble. Licensing popular mainstream songs can be extremely expensive and time-consuming, which is why we don’t offer it. Instead, we carefully select music that complements your story, pacing, and emotional tone.

What if our wedding date changes?

If your date changes and we’re available, we’ll happily move your booking to the new date. If we’re already booked, your deposit remains non-refundable, as it secured our availability for the original date.

How long until my wedding video is ready?

Our contract quotes a delivery timeline of up to 120 days from your wedding date. We edit films in the order they were filmed, and our workflow depends on the season's workload. Our peak wedding season runs from May through November, so turnaround times can vary. That said, we always strive to deliver films earlier whenever possible, without compromising quality.

Do you offer sneak peeks or teasers?

Yes! Some packages include a short teaser or highlight reel delivered ahead of the full film. This is a great way to relive your day and share something special with friends and family while your full film is in production.

How long will my wedding film be?

The length of your wedding film is dictated by the flow, events, and intricacy of your wedding day. Most of our films fall within the 5–10 minute range, focusing on storytelling, emotion, and the moments that matter most—without unnecessary filler.

What moments do you typically capture?

We capture everything from the big moments—ceremony, vows, speeches, first dances—to the in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening. Our goal is to tell a complete story, preserving both the emotion and atmosphere of your day.

Can we request changes or revisions?

We include a set number of revisions with every film. Minor tweaks—such as timing adjustments or music swaps within our licensed libraries—are absolutely welcome. Additional revisions beyond what’s included can be discussed if needed.

Do you travel outside of St. Louis?

Yes! While we’re based in St. Louis, we love to travel. Travel fees may apply depending on distance and accommodations, but we’re happy to provide a custom quote for destination weddings or out-of-town celebrations.
